The short answer is: all kinds! Whether you’re struggling with general anxiety about day to day tasks, social anxiety and worries about what others think of you, panic attacks, agoraphobia or difficulty leaving the house, a specific fear that's keeping you trapped such as flying, elevators, needles, etc. If your anxiety isn't listed here that's okay too! We can talk further during your consultation call.

I use a combination of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). To put it simply, we will work on gradually approaching your fears while learning new ways to respond to anxiety.

The key difference is response prevention, this means changing the way you respond to your anxiety. Many people respond to their anxiety with behaviors that grow their anxiety in the long term. This is one of the first things we do together in therapy because many people aren’t aware of, or have the knowledge that these responses increase their anxiety in the long term. As I always say “you can’t change something you’re not aware of!”
